Rajasthan Budget: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has set a new record by presenting the Rajasthan Budget 2023 in the Assembly on Friday i.e. Feb 10.

Giving preference to youth, women, farmers and sportspersons in his budget, Gehlot gave a recorded speech for more than three and a half hours.

This budget speech of Gehlot lasted longer than last year. Gehlot broke his old record this time in the budget speech. Gehlot had given a budget speech for about three hours last year.

However, a historic and major lapse has also been recorded in this budget. Due to this, there was a lot of uproar in the assembly and the proceedings of the house had to be postponed twice.

Let's know the big announcements made by Rajasthan CM

  • Now free treatment of up to 25 lakhs, accident insurance of 10 lakhs will be available in Chiranjeevi Yojana.

  • Government jobs for children orphaned in Corona when they turn 18.

  • Domestic consumers will now get 100 units of free electricity instead of 50.

  • LPG cylinder in Rs. 500 to families included in BPL-Ujjwala scheme.

  • No fee will be charged after one time registration in recruitment examinations.

  • Women will now get 50% discount on roadways buses.

  • Students will be able to travel 75 km free of cost in the bus.

  • All contract workers will be regular.

  • DLC rate will increase every year by 5% instead of 10%. Plots and flats will be cheaper.

  • Medical Colleges in Rajsamand, Jalore and Pratapgarh Districts.

  • Indira Gandhi Working Women Hostel will be established.

  • Through the app, farmers themselves can do Girdawari online. For this, an announcement was made to prepare the system at a cost of 12 crores.

  • Announcement of interest free loan of 3000 crores from co-operative banks, interest subsidy of 1050 crores for this.

  • Formation of Rs 500 crore Youth Development and Welfare Fund for education, employment and skill development under youth policy.

  • To provide employment to the youth, 100 mega job fairs will be organized.

  • Assistance to 30,000 students under the Mukhyamantri Anuprati Yojana.

  • A special task force will be set up inside the SOG to prevent copying and paper leaks.

  • If 18-35-year-old youth buy a property worth Rs 50 lakh for a startup or take it on lease for 10 years, they will not have to pay stamp duty.

  • Under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, one lakh elders will be given free travel to religious places like Ayodhya, Varanasi in two years.

  • APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Biotechnology will be established in Jaipur.

  • Rajiv Gandhi Aviation University will also open in Jaipur. Mining University in Kota Division.

  • Marwar Medical University will be built in Jodhpur at a cost of Rs 500 crore.

  • Rs 450 crore for 2,000 drones to various departments.
