CM Gehlot Health Update: Angioplasty done at SMS Hospital after Chest Pain

Angioplasty of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been successfully done at SMS Hospital. His health is improving now. Lokesh Sharma, Special Officer to the Chief Minister and State Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas tweeted and informed about the success of the operation. Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, Superintendent of SMS Hospital released the Chief Minister's Health Bulletin. He said- CM's angioplasty has been successful. Now his tests are normal. After angioplasty, he will be kept under observation for 24 hours. The CM has been advised to stay in the hospital for 2 to 3 days. They are feeling better now.

CM Gehlot's health suddenly deteriorated

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's health suddenly deteriorated on Friday morning. Due to chest pain and difficulty in breathing, the staff of the Chief Minister's residence immediately took him to SMS Hospital. The police administration and the management of SMS Hospital were alerted as soon as the health deteriorated.

According to the protocol in the hospital, the already present hospital principal, Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, superintendent Dr. Rajesh Sharma, along with other specialists including a cardiologist, handled them. On investigation here, it was revealed that there is 90 percent blockage in one of his arteries. Gehlot was then admitted to the critical care unit of SMS.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot healthy

Lokesh Sharma, Special Officer to the CM tweeted, "Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has successfully undergone angioplasty at SMS Hospital. Everything is fine now and there is nothing to worry about. With the prayers of the people of the state, the Chief Minister will get well soon.

Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas tweeted and wrote that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has undergone angioplasty. I am in the hospital with him and the Chief Minister is in good health. The prayers of the people of Rajasthan are with the Chief Minister.

Dotasara said – CM will be under observation for 24 hours

Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara said the CM had complained of chest pain late in the night. After going to the OK Diagnostic Center in the morning and got it checked, the blockage was detected. Gehlot reached the hospital at 11:30 am today after consulting SMS doctors. Where the team of all the doctors of cardiologists in the Bangar unit put a stand after doing their angioplasty for about half an hour. Dotasara told that now Gehlot is completely healthy. The doctor will keep him under observation for 24 hours.

Delhi tour and proposed meeting with Sonia Gandhi postponed

Chief Minister Gehlot was scheduled to visit Delhi on Thursday night. For this, the charter plane was also asked to be kept on standby, then after some time, they started feeling restless in the night. Due to ill health, he canceled the program to go to Delhi. Chief Minister reached SMS Hospital today for a medical checkup due to chest pain and tightness.

After Dr. Raghu Sharma, Chief Whip Dr. Mahesh Joshi and Transport Minister Pratap Singh also reached SMS Hospital. He inquired about the well-being of Chief Minister Gehlot from the doctors. In angiography, up to 90 percent blockage was found in an artery of the Chief Minister. The doctors have repaired the blockage by doing angioplasty of the Chief Minister by admitting him to the CCU. Now they are at rest.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot became Corona positive in April

Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was found corona positive on 29 April. His wife Sunita Gehlot also turned positive. Gehlot had tweeted on April 29 at 9:35 am and wrote that today my report has also come positive after getting the Covid test done. I don't have any symptoms and feel fine. Following the Covid-19 protocol, I will continue working in isolation. The Chief Minister has been doing all the work from CMR only after the increasing number of corona virus-infected in the second wave of Covid in the past.
