Pakistan International Airlines Plane Crashes near Karachi Airport,107 People were on Board

A big plane crash has happened in Karachi, Pakistan. A Pakistan International Airlines plane has been near Jinnah Airport in Karachi. The aircraft took off from Lahore, Pakistan and a few minutes before landing in Karachi, the aircraft crashed into a building, causing a terrible accident.

After the accident, the plane caught fire and began to explode. The fire brigade team extinguished the rescue operation is currently underway. According to Pakistani media reports, the crashed PIA aircraft was A320, about 100 people were on board, the plane crashed near a residential colony near Karachi Airport.

According to the news of Geo News, flight number PK-303 was coming from Lahore and the plane was about to land in Karachi that a few minutes ago crashed in Jinnah Garden near Model Colony in Malir. The news quoted civil aviation authority (CAA) sources as saying that the PIA Airbus A320 was carrying 98 people.

 Many houses have also been damaged in the area where the plane crashed. The Pakistan Army's media arm Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that the Army's Quick Response Force and Sindh Pakistan Rangers personnel have reached the spot to assist the civil administration in the relief and rescue operations.

The Dawn newspaper quoted media coordinator of Sindh's Health Minister Meeran Yusuf as saying that the Health and Public Welfare Minister has declared a state of emergency in all major hospitals in Karachi after the incident.
