Karan Oberoi Behind the Bars For Sexual Assault

TV on-screen character Karan Oberoi, best known for playing Raghav infamous Hindi show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, was on Monday captured by the Mumbai police regarding an assault case.

The on-screen character has been blamed for assaulting and blackmailing a lady. 

An FIR was enlisted at the Oshiwara police headquarters in Mumbai under segments 376 (assault) and 384 (coercion) of the Indian Penal Code.

"Oberoi not just assaulted the lady and taped the demonstration yet in addition requested cash from the injured individual taking steps to discharge the video in the event that she didn't pay up," police authorities said citing the FIR.
