In the INX Media case, former finance minister and senior Congress Congress leader P. Chidambaram received another setback. A Delhi court has allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to interrogate Chidambaram in Tihar Jail. The court has allowed the ED to conduct just thirty minutes of questioning. The ED will question the former finance minister on Wednesday.

Apart from this, the court has also allowed the ED to arrest them if needed after questioning. Chidambaram is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. He is in judicial custody till 17 October.

Special judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar allowed the inquiry on the ED's petition. The ED sought permission to interrogate Chidambaram at some place in the Rouse Avenue court premises. But the court said that you can go to Tihar Jail and inquire for half an hour. You can also arrest if necessary. It is believed that if Chidambaram does not answer the ED's questions properly, then the ED can arrest him.
