Biggest Protest in Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Javed Khan said that the "biggest" peaceful protest in the country's history will be held in Rawalpindi on November 26 under the leadership of party president and former prime minister Imran Khan.

Significantly, the former Prime Minister was injured by a bullet in his leg during a rally in Wazirabad on November 03, 2022, after which this march was temporarily postponed.

Mr Faisal Khan said on Twitter that the people of Pakistan are demanding elections to overcome the economic crisis. He has blamed the present government for the crisis.

He said in the tweet that the biggest problem in Pakistan is its poor economy and blamed political instability for the economic instability.

PTI leader Asad Umar has asked Rawalpindi residents to prepare for Mr Khan's arrival on 26 November. He also tweeted, "Get ready Pindi, Captain is coming to Rawalpindi on 26th November along with the rest of the country."

PTI had demanded government to announce the date of elections

Earlier, former Pakistan minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry had said that the party will reveal its strategy if elections are not held after the appointment of the new army chief.

Mr Chaudhry had said that PTI had demanded the government to announce the date of the elections, but the present government is afraid of its defeat in the elections.

Chaudhary said that along with PTI, the people of Pakistan are also demanding early elections. Furthermore, Chaudhry described free and transparent elections as the only solution to Pakistan's problems.

Talking to reporters in Lahore, he said that preparations are being made for the long march and 35 to 40 thousand people will reach Rawalpindi on Friday.
