Another Fake Sanitiser Factory Busted in Ghaziabad

After the fear of Coronavirus increases, there is a huge lack of sanitizer and mask in the market. In such a situation, some people are engaged in making huge profits. Acting on this, a joint team of the police station Kavinagar and drug inspector busted a fake sanitizer factory on the information of the informer.

Four people have been arrested in this action. From their possession, the police have recovered a large amount of plastic bottles including chemical used to make sanitizer and sanitizer worth about 10 lakhs. The two main accused are still missing. Police have also seized a large amount of sanitary, chemical and sanitizer equipment made of about Rs 12 lakh from their possession.

In fact, Kavinagar police station and drug inspector of Ghaziabad had received information that fake sanitizer factory is being operated inside a house located in village Bhamheta of Kavi Nagar area. Based on the information of the informer, a joint team of drug inspector and police station Kavi Nagar police conducted raids and arrested four people from the spot. At that place, a factory for making fake sanitizers under the name of Ottman International Laboratory was being run.

Apart from the possession of the accused arrested in the raids, a 90-liter sanitizer worth Rs 12 lakh, 600 liters of alcohol, 20 liters of glycerin, 35000 printed labels and plastic bottles have been recovered in addition to sanitizer equipment. At the same time, the police are also searching for the two accused who are absconding.
