Future of Musharraf is Endangered now!!!

Ayushi Sharma

A special court in Pakistan sentenced former President Pervez Musharraf to death under Article 6 of the country's law. There is now a big question mark about the future of Musharraf, who is living in exile in Dubai outside Pakistan. Law experts in Pakistan say that under the new law made in 1973, for the first time someone has been convicted in which the maximum punishment is hanging. In such a situation, there is also confusion over whether Musharraf will get an opportunity to appeal in the Upper Court.

Pakistani law expert said, "Any comment on the law under which this sentence has been given can be made only after reading the judgment in detail." However, there is a possibility that Musharraf may appeal to the Supreme Court, but until the verdict is read, we cannot say whether there will be an opportunity to appeal. For the first time this sentence has been given under this law, so we have no precedent.'

According to Pakistani media, nothing can be said about the future of Musharraf who has been convicted of treason. The channel said in its report that the court has done its job by passing judgment. Whether the former military dictator living in Dubai is punished by bringing the country or not, it all depends on the current government.
