Kapotasana is also known as pigeon pose. In this posture, the position of human body is like a pigeon. Doing this daily will keep you physically and mentally healthy.

Malaika Arora, while doing yoga, has given the method to do this yoga.

  • First bend your knees on your back and keep your thighs parallel and distance between the hips.
  • Now, cross your left ankle above your right thigh. Making sure that your ankle touches your thigh. Now actively flex your front foot by pulling back your toes.
  •   Pull your right knee towards your chest, holding your left hand through the triangle between your legs. Bring your hands behind your right leg.
  •  If you like it, straighten the right leg and bring your head towards the left shin. Keep pulling your right leg in your left glutes as well as the right hamstring to feel a good stretch.
  • Now switch legs and repeat on the other side.
