UDF MLAs Uproar in Kerala Assembly

The UDF MLA protested and created a ruckus against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. Along with this, the MLA reiterating the demand for the removal of Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. Amid the uproar in the assembly, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan escorted Marshal to the assembly. After this, UDF MLAs walked out of the House.

The dispute between the Kerala government and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan over CAA is not being named. There was a lot of uproar and protests over the CAA and NRC during the budget session of Kerala Legislative Assembly starting today. Today as soon as Governor Arif Mohammad Khan arrived in the House, slogans started against him. The UDF MLAs who were demonstrating had placards in their hands, which they were showing to the Governor. During this, the way of the Governor was also blocked while reaching the stage.

The Kerala government has passed a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act. After this the state government went to the Supreme Court. Its information was not given to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. The governor had expressed his displeasure over this. He had asked why the Governor's office was not informed about this? Everyone should follow the rule.
