Toyota Vellfire Mpv And Toyota Camry Hybrid Price Hiked Up

Toyota India last month announced a price hike for all its cars. The price of most of its cars went up in June. At the same time, the company said that prices of Camry Hybrid and Vellfire MPV will be updated in July. The price of these two will increase by 4-5%. Now Toyota has announced a new price for both these great cars. Their prices have increased from 1.14 lakh to 4 lakh rupees.

Price of Toyota Camry Hybrid

The Toyota Camry Hybrid now costs Rs 39.02 lakh. Its price has increased by Rs 1.14 lakh. Earlier the price of this car was Rs 37.88 lakhs. Toyota's luxury MPV Wellfire has launched in February for Rs 79.50 lakh. Now its price has been Rs 83.50 lakhs. Welfare prices have increased by Rs 4 lakh. Toyota had said that due to the considerable increase in the exchange rate, it has increased the price of cars. It is brought to India as a semi-knock down (SKD) kit and is assembled at the Bidadi plant in Karnataka. At the same time, the Wellfire was introduced in India as a CBU (fully fabricated) model. Hybrid powertrains are available on both of these Toyota cars.

Camry Hybrid Engine

The Camry Hybrid has a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine. The petrol engine generates the power of 176 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 221 Nm torque at 3,600-5,200 rpm. On the other hand, it's electric motor can generate 118 bhp power and 202 Nm torque. The combined power output of this hybrid engine is 208 bhp. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox.

How much power is in Toyota's wellfire?

The Toyota Wellfire has 2.5-litre petrol engines with 117hp power and two electric motors. The electric motor on the front axle generates the power of 143hp, while the electric motor on the rear axle generates the power of 68hp. The combined power output of this powertrain is 196 bhp.
