Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and NCP leader Sharad Pawar met in Delhi on Tuesday. Actually Maharashtra assembly elections are going to be held this year. In such a situation, the Congress wants to register its victory under any circumstances. It can tie up with the NCP Party to defeat the BJP. It is being speculated that this meeting is aimed at this alliance.

According to the information, Sharad Pawar and Sonia Gandhi want to seal the seat sharing last, so this meeting was held. It is likely that there will be more meetings for this next week. Significantly, this meeting was scheduled to be held in October, but it was decided on Tuesday itself.

Sharad Pawar was the Congress leader earlier. While in the Congress, he has also been the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Apart from this, he has also held the responsibility of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Agriculture. In his 50-year career, he has played an important role in the politics of Maharashtra.

He questioned the citizenship of Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, after which the party expelled him. After some time Sharad Pawar formed his own separate party, which he named NCP. Its foundation P.A. Sangma and Tariq Anwar teamed up with Sharad Pawar.
