CAA Protest People protested against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), NRC (National Register of Citizens) and NPR (National Population Register) on Moreland Road in Mumbai.
Significantly, on Friday, the deprived Bahujan Aghadi Party had called for Maharashtra bandh against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Citizenship Register. Due to which strict security arrangements were made in many districts including Mumbai, Nashik, Pune and Aurangabad.
Police force was deployed in large quantity to avoid any untoward incident. However, the situation in Pune was normal during this bandh called by the CAA, NRC and the deprived Bahujan Aghadi Party.
