Neeraj said – The final was about to start and I was not getting my javelin. That's when I saw my javelin in the hands of Pakistani thrower Arshad Nadeem. Then I took the javelin from him and threw it in haste.

Arshad didn't break any rules

Now that the news of Neeraj being in the hands of Javelin Nadeem has come to the fore, people have started saying that the Pakistani athlete must have done it deliberately. On this Neeraj has said that Arshad Nadeem did not break any rule. Whatever he did was done within the bounds of the rules.

Don't promote your agenda with my comments

Neeraj tweeted- I request all of you not to make my comments a medium to further your dirty agenda. The game teaches us all to live together and it is important to know the rules of the game before commenting. He has also shared the video in the tweet.

Both athletes respect each other

Neeraj and Ashraf have been rivals for a long time. Despite this, they also respect each other. The two also faced each other in the 2018 Asian Games. Then he won the gold and Ashraf won the bronze. Arshad Nadeem finished fifth in the Tokyo Olympics.
