Mamta Banerjee Protests Against CAA in Purulia

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee on Monday protested against the Citizenship Amendment Law (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Purulia. On this occasion, Mamta said that I would like to appeal to all to come together against the BJP. I would like to request everyone that your names are in the voter list without any errors. Just do it. We will not let a single person leave. This is our promise.

Mamta said that no one will be taken out of West Bengal. The BJP government is trying to expel people from various sections, including tribal tribes. The people of Jharkhand have responded to the assembly elections. According to him, the independence of the country is in danger today. Mamta Banerjee claims that 35 people have committed suicide in West Bengal due to fear of NRC.

The Trinamool Congress minister-legislators staged a sit-in in all 294 Assembly (Vis) constituencies of the state on Saturday against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC). The strike started at 10 am and lasted till 4 pm. Due to this, traffic was changed in many places in Kolkata.
