Photographs of documents will not be considered as digital documents. For this, documents have to be downloaded by downloading the 'M Transport' app of the Ministry of Roads or the DigiLocker app of the Ministry of Information Technology. These apps will give complete information about your DL, RC, Insurance, Permit, PUC etc.

Entering the number of DL, vehicle or permit in M-Challan app will reveal the entire document. In this, how many times the vehicle's e-challan has been done will also be known. It will also get information about the driver of the hired taxi (aggregator like Ola, Uber). Digilocker is as secure as an online bank account.
