Digital Talent for Youth will be Shared with Microsoft, NSDC

Legendary tech giant Microsoft has joined hands with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to enhance the digital skills of the country's youth. Under this, more than one lakh of youth will be digitally enabled in the country in the next year. 

The partnership between Microsoft and NSDC aims to transform India into a skilled nation. Under this, Microsoft will coordinate with NSDC's eSkill India portal to teach the new generation the nuances of digital skills. This is very important to make the country a digital economy.

As part of this partnership, Microsoft's Learning Resource Center Microsoft will learn to be integrated with the digital platform of Skill India. So that the youth can be exposed to the nuances of today's digital economy.

Under this, these youngsters will be exposed to critical technology from entry-level to advanced levels like AI and cloud computing.

The partnership with NSDC is an extension of Microsoft's Global Skilling Initiative. Under this, the company is teaching new digital skills to 25 million people all over the world, which is needed in the Covid-19 economy.

Microsoft India President Anant Maheshwari said: "Digital change in the country is increasing demand for tech-related jobs in every industry and with it the need for digital skills.

We are building a digital skills ecosystem that will prepare India's workforce for the future. Our partnership with NSDC is an important step in this direction. This will give the youth a chance to redefine their skills for the digital economy.

Manish Kumar, CEO and MD, NSDC said, "The objective of this agreement is to prepare the youth for a fast-emerging digital economy." There will be an emphasis on the advance skill of the new age and this will meet the growing demands of our economy.
