Tata Motors is preparing to introduce a new model of its electric sub-compact sedan Tata Tigor EV. An updated Tigor EV Facelift has recently been spotted during testing.

In the newly leaked photos, the car is seen without a cover for the first time, which has revealed a number of details. The electric Tigor facelift is expected to be launched by the end of this year.

Design for Tata Tigor Facelift

The electric Tata Tigor facelift will look like the standard Tigor facelift (petrol model), which was launched in January this year. The updated electric Tigor will get a sharp nose with a new glossy black grille at the front, a thick chrome strip under the grille, updated projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. Apart from these, the car has new bumpers with wide central air drag and stylish horizontal housing for fog lamps.

Features

The updated Tigor EV will come with multi-spoke alloy wheels like the current model, while the standard Tigor (petrol model) offers dual-tone alloy wheels. Like the current model, the new electric Tigor also gets an 'EV' sticker and 'Tigor EV' badging with revised rear bumpers at the rear.

Battery and Range

The Tigor EV facelift is expected to get a 21.5 kWh battery pack with the current model. The electric motor provided in it generates the power of 40 bhp and 105 Nm peak torque. The current model of the Tigor EV gives a range of up to 213 km once fully charged. It is expected to get more range in the updated model.
