BJP Declares Swatantra Dev Singh as State President of Uttar Pradesh

On Friday, BJP Leader Swatantra Dev Singh was declared as state president of Uttar Pradesh. He was a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. On Thursday, Swatantra Dev Singh filed his nomination and, no one had filed a claim against him. After that, BJP national general secretary and central observer Bhupendra Yadav declared Swatantra Dev Singh as party's state president.

 On Friday, Bhupendra Yadav gave the certificate to newly elected state president Swatantra Dev Singh at BJP state headquarters. BJP's National General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh Election Supervisor Bhupendra Yadav announced the name of the party's new state president. He said that only one nomination letter was filed. That is why I declare the name of Swatantra Dev Singh. Earlier, the proposal for nomination of the members of the National Council was proposed by CM Yogi Adityanath. Deputy CM and former state president Keshav Prasad Maurya, Ramapati Ram Tripathi supported CM's proposal. The newly elected state president of 80-members National Council, Swatantradev Singh, was given the right of nomination.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya along with Election Officer Cabinet Minister Ashutosh Tandon 'Gopal' and Deoria MP Ramapati Ram Tripathi were also present on the occasion. Swatantra Dev Singh said on this occasion that the sacrament of sacrificing life for mother India can only be found in BJP.
