Bajaj Launches Chetak Electric Scooter Service Centers in Pune and Bangalore

The country's renowned automobile company Bajaj Auto has announced the opening of service centers of Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter in Bangalore and Pune cities.  Bajaj Chetak was recently launched in these two cities in the Indian market.  After these cities, this electric scooter was to be launched in other cities as well, but due to the coronavirus lockdown, it got delayed.  While all service centers have been started in Bengaluru, the selected service center has been opened in Pune as covid-19 in Maharashtra is at its peak.  The company said that during this time, safety guidelines are being followed for all social distancing and sanitization.

Power and Specification: In terms of power and specification, the electric motor in Bajaj Chetak generates a peak power of 5.36 Hp and continuous power of 5 Hp and generates torque of 16 Nm.  There are two riding modes in this scooter, first is Eco and second is Sport.  In Eco mode, Chetak can give a range of 95 km in single charge, while in Sport mode, this scooter can give a range of 85 km.  Talking about the charging time, the battery of this electric scooter can be fully charged in 5 hours.  At the same time, up to 25 percent can also be charged in just 1 hour, but at the moment a fast charging system has not been provided with it.  Talking about top speed, this scooter can run at a speed of 60 kmph.

Talking about the price, the starting ex showroom price of Bajaj Chetak Urbane is Rs 1 lakh and the starting ex showroom price of Bajaj Chetak Premium is Rs 1.15 lakh.  The new Chetak comes with a metal body and retro design.  The curb weight of this scooter is 120 kg.  Talking about the features, Chetak EV has full LED light, premium paint finish, alloy wheels, full digital instrument console (which will give information about battery range, real time battery indicator).  And keyless ignition features.
