Cab is the one the most used transport but many times cab drivers do not take us from the right route and divert to another route. In such a situation there is a feature on Google Maps, under which you will be given warning if taken from the wrong route. This feature works only when you use public transport. In such a situation, if you go to a new place and the cab driver is taking you through the wrong path, then you will be given immediately through the warning app. Obviously, these features can prove to be a better option for travelers. 

For using this, first you have to go to Google Maps. After this you have to enter your destination.After this you have to go to the direction button. After this, tap on the driving icon. After this you will get the option of Stay Safer. You will see it in the bottom of the screen.

Under this option you will get the option of Get Off-Route Alerts. You have to turn it on. With this, you will start receiving off-route alerts in your smartphone.
