UP: Forced Religious Conversion of 400 People in Meerut, Police Registered Case Against 9

Forced Religious Conversion: In Meerut, a case of forced conversion has come to light by luring 400 people. On Saturday, hundreds of people of the area reached the SSP office of Meerut and told about forcible conversion by giving greed.

In the application given to the SSP, it is alleged that some people are forcing them to become Christian. Also, the idols of Hindu gods and goddesses are being forced out of the house.

The victims reached the Brahmaputra police station on Friday with a BJP leader and said that the accused lured them with money and food for conversion.

It is alleged that 400 people of the area are being pressured to convert and also asked to change their names on our Aadhaar Cards. A temporary church has also been built in the area.

The complainants also told the police that when they were doing puja on the day of Diwali, the accused entered their houses and vandalized the idols of the deities.

Forced Religious Conversion: Police registered a case against 9

In this case, Meerut's SP City Piyush Singh says that some people from Mangat Puram area had gone to the SSP office.

These people said that in the past they were converted to Christianity by deceit by keeping them in the dark.

On the basis of the application of victims, a case has been registered against 9 people at the Brahmapuri police station.
