Rajasthan Politics: The ongoing power struggle within the Rajasthan Congress shows no signs of abating. Over the past few days, Sachin Pilot has launched a campaign against Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Amidst this backdrop, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has scheduled separate meetings in Delhi today with both Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and Sachin Pilot, the former Deputy Chief Minister.

A senior party leader shared this information, and the Chief Minister's Office has also released Ashok Gehlot's schedule for the day.

The Chief Minister's Office has issued a program confirming CM Gehlot's visit to Delhi, where he will be laying the foundation stone of Rajasthan Bhavan in the capital.

This development comes in the backdrop of the Congress meeting following Sachin Pilot's "ultimatum."

Sachin Pilot had stated that if his three demands from the state government were not met by the end of this month, he would initiate a statewide agitation.

One of Pilot's key demands is a high-level inquiry into alleged scams that occurred during the previous Vasundhara Raje government's tenure.

Congress Aims to Reconcile Gehlot and Pilot in Rajasthan

As per a senior party leader, a scheduled meeting of prominent Congress leaders with state leaders on May 26 was postponed.

Additionally, the leader mentioned that prior to the upcoming assembly elections later this year, the party's high command intends to hold separate meetings with Gehlot and Pilot in order to foster unity between them.

Drawing inspiration from the successful reconciliation between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar in Karnataka, the party aims to apply a similar formula in Rajasthan.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge played a crucial role in bringing the leaders together in Karnataka, and the party now seeks to replicate that approach in Rajasthan.
