Former Bihar MP Anand Mohan Released from Jail in DM-Lynching Case

DM-Lynching Case: On Thursday i.e. April 27 morning, former Bihar MP Anand Mohan was released from prison, where he was serving a life sentence for the 1994 murder of IAS officer G Krishnaiah.

The Nitish Kumar government made changes to the prison rules on April 10 to enable his release, and the Bihar government released an official notification on April 24, which contained the names of 27 prisoners to be released, including Anand Mohan.

Anand Mohan, the powerful politician, who was out on parole to attend his son's engagement ceremony in Patna on Monday (April 24), received the news of his release during the event.
