Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express: Today i.e. on April 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express to Rajasthan.
During the inauguration through video conferencing, the Prime Minister stated that Rajasthan is receiving its first Vande Bharat train, which will make travelling between Ajmer and Delhi easier.
The Vande Bharat Express is expected to greatly benefit the tourism industry of Rajasthan.
The Prime Minister highlighted that around 60 lakh people have travelled in these modern trains, which are known for their high speed and time-saving benefits.
Also, PM Modi stated that the Vande Bharat train has become a symbol of development, modernity, stability, and self-reliance. The Prime Minister also emphasized that today's journey of the Vande Bharat train will pave the way for a developed India tomorrow.
The regular service of the Vande Bharat Express will commence from tomorrow i.e. April 13th, making it the 15th such train in the country. Operating between Ajmer-Delhi Cantt, this Vande Bharat Express will make stops at Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon.
