Young Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok Completes Tied 59th in Marathon Classic Golf

India's Aditi Ashok carded a modest one-under 70 in the final round to finish tied 59th at the Marathon Classic golf tournament here.

Aditi, who had an incredible begin in the first round this week with four-under 67, completed with a total of two-under 284 on Sunday.

On the final day, Aditi had two birdies against one intruder, all in a range of five openings somewhere in the range of thirteenth and eighteenth.

In the meantime, Sei Young Kim won the Marathon Classic for her second LPGA Tour triumph of the period.

Helped by five straight birdies in a mid-round barrage, she checked six-under 66 for a two-stroke triumph over Lexi Thompson.

Thompson, a stroke behind Kim entering the day, shut with birdie-falcon for a 66.

Stacy Lewis was third at 16-under after a 66. US Women's Open hero Jeongeun Lee checked a 69 to complete fourth at 14-under, while Jennifer Kupcho was tied for fifth at 11-under.
