Saina and Srikanth Explosive Display, at the All-England Open quarter-finals

In All England badminton championship, India's Ace Shuttlers Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth have made their way to the quarter-finals.

Saina defeated Denmark's line Jarffeld 8-21, 21-16, 21-13. The match lasted 51 minutes. Saina Nehwal has won the match for the third time against Jarffeld. Saina is becoming successful and also creating and making the place in the last-8 of the tournament for the 9th time. Saina will now fight against the Tai Xu Ying No. 1 player in the quarterfinals.

In the opening game, Saina was conquered by world no. 19 but the experienced she grab was remarkable and campaigner kept her cool and calm to take the match to the decider and eventually come up trumps against her Danish rival.

Prior, on Wednesday night Saina defeated Scotland player Kristy Gilmour 21-17 21-18 in just 35 minutes in her opening match.

Veteran Singapore Open champion B Sai Praneeth's In other matches against 24-year-old Ng Ka Long Angus has lasted just 35 minutes as he went down 12-21 17-21 in the second round. It was his third loss to the World no. 15 from Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Kidambi Srikanth beat Indonesia's Christopher Kristi 21-17, 11-21, 21-12. Srikanth will play for the first time in the quarter-finals. They will now face number 1 Japan's Canto Momota.

When Srikanth tricky play kept Jonatan on his feet as he lifted to 19-15 with only two smashes and went to game point when his rival hit long. Two game points were hardly saved by the Indonesian before a midcourt return and was punished by Srikanth to grab him and then dragging him to the right.

In the second half, Jonatan injected more pace in the game and grabbed the first six points under his court before committing anything. Srikanth was left restless to do the catch-up act as Jonatan opened up an 11-6 lead at the game.
