Mumbai Indians Became the First Team to Win 100 IPL Matches

The Mumbai Indians team made history by winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Wankhede Stadium against the Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday. Mumbai Indians have become the first team in IPL history, which has won 100 matches. Mumbai has achieved this historic achievement by winning the 15th match of the current IPL season of 2019 against Chennai.

This is 100th win of Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Mumbai Indians have played 175 matches in IPL since 2008, out of which they have won 100 matches. Although one of these 100 matches won Mumbai in super over. Apart from this, Mumbai Indians have also lost in 75 matches.

In this list, Chennai Super Kings is on the second place, who has played 152 IPL matches and has won in 93 matches.

1. Mumbai Indians – 175 matches, 100 wins (1 match won in super over), 75 lost

2. Chennai Super Kings – 152 matches, 93 wins, 58 losses (1 match lost in super over), 1 no result

3. Kolkata Knight Riders –   167 matches, 88 wins 79 defeats (3 matches lost in super over) 

4. Royal Challengers Bangalore – 171 matches, 79 wins (1 match won in super over), 89 defeats (1 match lost in super over), 3 no result

Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians have also stopped the MS Dhoni's Winning chariot. Hardik Pandya and many more players helped Mumbai to beat Chennai. MI beat Chennai by 37 runs.

MI hit the field in all three departments and gave the target of 171 runs and then stop the Chennai on 133 runs.

Bumrah hit a brilliant return and only 12 runs in the last three overs, while Malinga lost the right expectations of Jadhav and Dwayne Bravo (eight) in an over. Jadhav put eight fours and a six in his innings.

After the stunning performance, they beat Chennai and stop the winning streak of Chennai in the yesterday match at Wankhede Stadium.
