Indian Women Team will make it to the Finals of T20 World Cup: Jemima Rodrigues

Indian Women Cricket Team's young batsman Jemima Rodrigues said that she is confident that the team will perform well in the ICC T20 World Cup and will make it to the finals. The team lost in the semi-finals in the last T20 World Cup. Rodrigues is all set for next month's ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. She has said that playing in the tri-series before the World Cup will give the Indian team a good opportunity to practice. Apart from the hosts, India and England will take part in the tri-series to be played in Australia.

Jemima further said, 'I think, our preparation is going very well. We will get to play some very good matches. Now we are going to Australia and we have to play in the Tri-series. I think we will get to play some very good practice matches before the main tournament.' Talking about her batting, she said, 'Yes, I am working on some special things to make my batting better. My preparations are going very well.'

Jemima, a 19-year-old young batsman, has played 34 T20 and 16 ODIs for India. She is hopeful that a lot of spectators will arrive during the women's T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. Jemima hoped that her dream of playing in the final at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground would be fulfilled this time. Jemima expressed her dream of playing the World Cup final, "I cannot express in words the feeling of being part of the Indian team playing in the World Cup final. It will be very encouraging. I am looking forward to that moment eagerly."
