India started and ended its Asia Cup 2022 campaign with a win. But they lost the matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the super 4 round of this edition.
So, the men in blue have been knocked out of this tournament and the final will be played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Sunday, 11th September 2022 in Dubai.
Kohli played awesome in yesterday’s game against Afghanistan
India opened their account with a thrilling last over win against Pakistan in their first match of the Asia Cup 2022 edition. His last century came in 2019 in India’s first-ever day-night Test match against Bangladesh in Kolkata.
Now Virat has scored his first century in the T20 International format and that too before the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. This is a very good sign that Kohli is back in form for the men in blue side before the ICC mega event Down Under.

India’s bowling was also brilliant as Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up a five-wicket haul in the shortest format which restricted the Afghan batters to just 111 runs in their 20 overs. India won the match by 101 runs in the end.
