Murder of Priest in Bundi: The sensational case of killing the priest of Dobra Mahadev temple located on Taragarh hill in Bundi city of Rajasthan has come to light. Here unknown miscreants brutally murdered the priest and stole the idol of the temple and fled.

The people of the area are shocked after the murder of the priest of Dobra Mahadev temple situated on the hill of Bundi city.

Vivekananda Sharma, a resident of Lakheri, was murdered by miscreants. The reason for the murder is not completely clear, but it is being told that the miscreants had come to the temple intending to steal the precious ancient idol of black stone of Thakur Ji.

The miscreants killed the priest for carrying out the incident of idol theft. Top police officers who reached the spot have started investigating.

Police say that we got information that a dead body is lying near Dobra Mahadev temple under Kotwali. They further said that looking at the spot, it appears that there was a lot of conflict, which probably ended with the murder of the priest. It appears that there was a struggle for the idol and in the process the priest was killed. However, we will know the exact story only after a detailed investigation.

Samples sent to FSL

Policemen, including some senior police officers who were reportedly probing the case, were also seen at the spot.

Teams from the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) and other teams were also spotted at the spot and the investigation was carried out as per protocol, the officials said.
