Jaipur Literature Festival 2022 to be held Between 5th– 14th March

The much-awaited Jaipur Literature Fest was scheduled for about two years ago but a worldwide pandemic, coronavirus delayed the festival. Now this will be held in March. The 15th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), which was scheduled to take place between January 28 and February 1, has been postponed until March 5th -14th, according to organizers. Jaipur Literature Festival 2022 will be at Clarks Amer, Jaipur.

How the festival will begin?

The rich program will begin each day with cool morning music. On the first day of the International Festival from 10th - 14th March 2022, the first performance by Ujjwal Nagar, a promising Hindustani Classical singer from Delhi. The next day will feature Aastha Goswami, a former Indian singer, and composer who can sing in 17 Indian languages. The Aahvaan Project will sing on the third day of the Festival, introducing the philosophy of love, humanity, and kindness, and will open the door to harmony with their unique ability to tell stories through music.

Hindustani Classical vocalist from the Dagar Gharana will perform

The fourth day of the Festival will see a breath-taking performance by Hindustani Classical vocalist from the Dagar Gharana, Smt. Sombala Kumar, her style of singing dhrupad through conventional in technique. On the concluding day of the ‘Greatest literary show on earth’, academic and musician Priya Kanungoo will serenade audiences with Indian Classical music, bringing out mindfulness to celebrate the essence of India’s diverse musical heritage.

Performance by leading dancers and choreographers in different forms

In addition to the dawn of music, the most famous literary festival offers a spectacular Heritage Night on 13 March at Ganesh Pol, Amer Fort. The special event will feature Kalapini Komkali, a well-trained and well-known artist of the new generation, and the daughter and renowned student Pandit Kumar Gandharva. In addition, a wonderful night at Amer Fort will feature the soul-stirring dance of Kathak's classic Indian Classical dance dancer, Aditi Mangaldas, a former Kathak Natya masterpiece - the late Pandit Birju Maharaj.
