BPCL's Order: Google-pay, Phone-pay, And Paytm Scanners Removed From 74 Pumps, Now Use Hello BPCL App

Bharat Petroleum Limited is going to create trouble for the common man in the matter of strictness on its dealers. BPCL has created its own Helo BPCL App for online payment and has placed orders to use the same at its Petrol Pumps. Along with this, it has also been asked to remove the scanners of Google Pay, Phone Pay, and Paytm from here. After the protest by the petrol dealers of Rajasthan, BPCL has made the status quo on the circular.

BPCL has 2200 petrol pumps in Rajasthan, 11 lakh liters of petrol and diesel are sold daily

BPCL has 2200 petrol pumps in Rajasthan, where 11 lakh liters of petrol and diesel are sold daily. 1.25 lakh liters of petrol and diesel are consumed daily at 74 petrol pumps in Jaipur. Big boards of QR codes of Google Pay and Paytm have also been removed from BPCL's petrol pumps and in their place, new QR code boards written in the name of Smart Drive are also being installed.

The big question... why was this done?

LPG Dealers Federation of Rajasthan general secretary Kartikeya Gaur said that the companies have issued a circular to take payment from the dealers first, and since then the protest is going on. Now after taking payment from your mobile application and QR code, it will go directly to the account of BPCL company. If the dealer has to order the goods, then the company will deduct the supply money in advance and will return the remaining money or commission to the dealer.

BPCL has done the transaction through the mobile app which is the compulsion. That is not fair, the complaint has been sent to the Ministry of Petroleum. This will also affect and upset the customers a lot.- Sunit Bagai, President, Rajasthan Petrol Dealers Association.
