UP Election 2022: Ex-BJP Minister Dara Singh Chouhan joins SP

Before the UP assembly elections, there has been competition among the leaders who left the BJP to join the SP. Swami Prasad Maurya, who was a minister in the Yogi government on January 14, joined with 6 other MLAs, meanwhile, Dara Singh, who resigned from the post of Forest and Environment Minister in the Yogi government of BJP, has also joined the Samajwadi Party.

Former minister Dara Singh Chauhan joined the Samajwadi Party on Sunday in the presence of SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav. Meanwhile, a large number of people from the Kshatriya community took membership in the party. Dara Singh Chauhan, who is called a strong leader of Purvanchal, said that today a large number of people are joining the SP.

He said, 'When the BJP government was formed in the state, the slogan was given that “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”. But development was done only for a few people. Also, he said that now the backward society of the state cannot be cheated. Dara Singh said that the people of Dalit, backward and deprived society had voted for BJP, but today all of them are roaming on the road unnecessarily. Now every society of the state wants to make Akhilesh the Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh..

Elections for the 18th Assembly in Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases. Voting for the first phase will be held on February 10. After this, voting will be held for the second phase on 14 February, third on 20 February, fourth on 23 February, fifth on 27 February, sixth on 3 March and seventh phase on 7 March. The counting of votes will be held on March 10. In the first phase of Uttar Pradesh elections, polling will be held in 58 seats in 11 districts of western UP.
