Many protests are going on against the government for a long time over NRC (National Register of Citizens), CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) and NPR (National Population Register). Many anti-government parties are also fighting a political battle by making it an issue. In this episode, now AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has hit out at the central government regarding NPR.

On Monday, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, "I request the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao to put stay on National Population Register (NPR), as Kerala did. NPR has nothing to do with census and social welfare schemes. This is purely an exercise to implement NRC in the future."

In the Jamia case, Asaduddin Owaisi accused the Delhi Police that the Delhi Police told a lie that it did not enter Jamia. Rather, the Delhi Police entered Jamia and injured a girl's eye. The video shows that the children wanted to get out but the police were hitting the children from behind. The Vice-Chancellor of Jamia has complained against the police to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, saying that an FIR should be lodged against the Delhi Police.
