A case of inebriated misconduct on a flight has emerged yet again, as an Indian man was apprehended at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport for reportedly urinating on a fellow passenger on an American Airlines flight, officials reported on Monday i.e. April 24.

The individual was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and engaged in a dispute with the co-passenger, leading to the indecent act.

The incident occurred on AA 292, an American Airlines flight from New York to Delhi. The "unruly" passenger was apprehended by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) upon the plane's arrival at IGI Airport at approximately 9 PM on Sunday.

According to sources, the airline informed the Delhi airport authorities about the incident before landing, and both passengers involved were handed over to the Delhi Police. The victimized passenger lodged a formal complaint with the authorities, as per the same sources cited by PTI.

The Delhi Police commented that legal action has been taken against the accused under non-cognizable offenses of the Civil Aviation Act.

The airline staff filed a complaint regarding the disruptive conduct of the passenger, leading to the initiation of necessary action.

However, the police also mentioned that there was no supporting evidence or complaint from other co-passengers regarding the alleged incident of urination.
