IT Survey Going on in BBC Offices Ends after 60 Hours

The ongoing survey of the Income Tax Department in the offices of the prestigious media organization British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has come to an end.

The officials of the Income Tax Department have gone back from the BBC offices after completing the survey work. After which the functioning of BBC started normally.

According to the information received, this survey lasted for about 60 hours. The survey of the Income Tax Department, which started at around 11.30 am on Tuesday, ended late on Thursday night.

The officials of the Income Tax Department left the BBC offices at around 11 pm on Thursday late night. After which a statement was issued by the BBC.

The statement said that officials of the Income Tax Department have left our offices in Delhi and Mumbai. We will continue to cooperate with the IT team. Hope the matter gets resolved soon.

It may be noted that the Income Tax Department team reached the BBC's offices in Delhi and Mumbai on Tuesday morning for investigation.

Initially, it was called an income tax raid. But later it was learned that the officials of the Income Tax Department were surveying the BBC office.

According to media reports, this survey was done on the matter related to irregularities in international tax.
