Gujarat: Dalit Family beaten up for going to Ram Temple, FIR against 20 People

In Gujarat, a Dalit family was attacked by 20 people. In this case, a case has now been registered on behalf of the members of the victim Dalit family. It is being told that this attack has been done on the members of a Dalit family while visiting a temple. The incident took place in the Kutch district. Police said the Dalit family had gone to a temple in the Gandhidham town of the district.

No arrest has been made so far

The incident took place under the Bhachau police station of the district. No arrest has been made so far in this case. In this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kishore Singh Jala said, 'Two FIRs have been registered in this incident of assault. One FIR has been lodged by Govind Vaghela and the other by his father Jagabhai. Both have said in their complaint that about 20 people have attacked them. We have formed 8 teams to arrest the accused in this case.

A case has been registered against a mob of 20 people in this case. However, no one has been arrested so far. Cases have been registered against all of them under various sections including attempts to murder, dacoity, robbery, torture. It is being told that the accused were angry that the Dalit family went to the Ram temple when the Prana Pratishtha ritual was being performed.

Accused also stole the mobile phone

On October 26, Vaghela was at his shop when he came to know that cattle had come to his farm and his crops had been ruined. When Ganesh Vaghela reached the spot, some people accused him of going to the temple and attacked him with sticks, pipes and sharp weapons. Vaghela's uncle was also assaulted.

The police also said that the complaint states that the accused stole his mobile phone and vandalized his rickshaw. The accused also attacked his mother Bhadiben, father Jagabhai and two other relatives. After the attack, 6 injured have been treated at a hospital in Bhuj.
