Vasundhara Raje urges Gehlot Government to Solve the Irrigation Problem of Farmers

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje expressed concern over the irrigation problem of the farmers of the state and said that providing irrigation water once a month to the farmers of Ganganagar and Hanumangarh would damage the crop.

Vasundhara Raje said in a tweet that the irrigation crisis in Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh is a matter of concern for the farmers. The state government has issued a rule to provide water only once, whereas earlier it was given four times. This will surely ruin the crops. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje further said that the Rabi crop will now get water once or twice in 40 days, while the crops should get water at least thrice in 30 days.

She urged the Congress-led state government to immediately talk to the Punjab government and find a suitable solution to the irrigation problem so that farmers could get enough water for irrigation.
