Cold climate is slowly building in North India, so rain in South India has changed the weather conditions once again. Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are continuously suffering from heavy rains, due to which flood-like conditions have occurred in many areas. Red alert has been issued for Tuesday in South India, as well as a holiday has been announced in many schools. On the Meteorological Department, Orange and Yellow Alerts have been issued in some areas of Karnataka, while Red Alerts have been issued in the sea areas. There has been continuous rains in Karnataka for the past few days, due to which there are flood-like conditions in some areas.

Due to heavy rains in Karnataka, the conditions are bad in districts like Dharwad, Belagavi, Kalaburgi, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Shivamogga,  Houses and schools have also been flooded in these areas. Many of these areas had worsened due to floods in August as well. The Meteorological Department said that in Belagavi from Sunday evening to Monday morning, 58.1 mm  rain has been recorded.

Alert has been issued in Karnataka as well as Kerala. Red alert is going on in Kerala and people are being evacuated from where the chances of rain are high. Fishermen have been asked to remain safe in the sea areas. Tourists have been banned in Thiruvananthapuram and areas connected to the sea area. An alert has been sounded due to heavy rains in coastal areas of Tamil Nadu besides Kerala and Karnataka. Schools have been closed in many districts. Today Chief Minister E. Palaniswami will also hold a meeting with officials.
