Pollution Decreased and now Delhi does not need Odd – Even

Pollution also decreased for the third consecutive day in Delhi-NCR on Monday. Seeing this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the weather has cleared, now Delhi does not need an Odd-even.

However, weather agencies have warned that the days of strong winds that have given relief to Delhi are now over. Due to this, further pollution can increase. Both Safar and IMD have issued similar alerts.

The winds started to slow down since Monday night. Winds moving at a speed of 15-20 km / h are expected to decrease to 4 km / h on Tuesday.

There is a possibility that from Tuesday, the pollution level will reach near serious. A thick layer of smog will also be seen on Wednesday. Delhi's average air index stood at 215 on Monday, 1 less than Sunday. On Tuesday, it is at 204.

AQI up to 0-50 is considered 'good'. 51-100 falls into the 'Satisfactory', 101-200 'Moderate', 201-300 'Bad', 301-400 'Very Bad' and above it in the Critical category. AQI above 500 is for severe and emergency situations.
