Pollution in NCR is due to Air coming from Pakistan, UP Government's argument in SC

Regarding the pollution matter in Delhi-NCR, the Yogi government has said in the Supreme Court that pollution is spreading due to the air coming from Pakistan. During the hearing, the counsel for the UP government said that the air is coming from Pakistan, due to which pollution is spreading. A bench of CJI N.V. Ramanna, Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Surya Kant was hearing the matter in court.

Most of the air is coming from Pakistan,claims UP Govt.

According to the Bar and Bench report, during the hearing, Advocate Ranjit Kumar, appearing for the UP government, said that if the factories are closed, the sugar industry will be affected. The UP government said that most of the air is coming from Pakistan, to which the CJI said that do you want to shut down Pakistan's industry?

Next hearing of the matter will be held next Friday

During the hearing, the bench of Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramanna said that we have studied the affidavits of the Central Government and NCT. We direct that this should be implemented immediately. The next hearing of the matter will be held next Friday. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta appeared on behalf of the government in the court.

Team of Flying Squad will be increased

On the other hand, the Delhi government's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi requested the court not to ban the construction of the medical institute, which was accepted by the court. In the affidavit given by the NCT and the Center, it has been said that the team of Flying Squad will be increased. Along with this, five special task forces will be formed for control.
