Dangal star Sanya Malhotra has joined Vidya Balan for the Shakuntala Devi biopic and she exposition the role of Shakuntala Devi's little girl Anupama Banerji. The producers reported the actor's casting on the occasion of Daughter's Day.

Also looking forward to my first association with Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra," Sanya said in an announcement.
