On Sanjay Dutt's birthday on Monday, the producers of Prasthanam unveiled the teaser of the film.  The short mystery resembles an Epic political dramatization set in contemporary occasions.

As the little more than 1-minute secret opens, we see an entryway opening and Sanjay Dutt rising up out of behind it. His voice-over establishes the pace of the mystery as he says: "Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, chhinoge toh Mahabharat."

What pursues is a montage of pictures from the film – we see Manisha Koirala, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Ali Faizal, and Amyra Dastur show up through it. There's a great deal of viciousness; we additionally get the feeling that someplace through the course of the film, Sanjay Dutt turns politicians.

Prasthanam is the official Hindi remake of Telugu film of a similar name. 2010 unique featured Sharwanand and Sai Kumar in conspicuous jobs. The movie has been directed by Deva Kutta, who coordinated the first one also.

Speaking to PTI, Deva Kutta had referenced how Sanjay Dutt had been keen on bringing the tale of Prasthanam to Hindi group of spectators for quite a while.

He stated:  "Sanjay Dutt got interested in the project, which was in 2011-2012 within one-two years of (its) release. In between he went to jail and then came back and the follow up (from their end) was passionate regarding the film. I was interested because of the intensity of interest from his side." Incidentally, the film has been created by Sanjay Dutt Productions.

The Telugu film narrated the story of a politician and the complex relations prevailing in his family.  Clarifying further, Deva Kutta referenced that the fundamental story will stay unblemished. "Essentially there are no progressions to the story by any stretch of the imagination, with the exception of refining and cleaning the canvas. It is exceptionally applicable. I have revised the screenplay the discoursed were given by Farhad."
