SHOOJIT ON THE POST PRODUCTION OF THE FILM

Asked questions about the impact of the pandemic on the film, Shoojit Sircar told IANS, "We will not say it has affected us very much."

He went on to say, "It would be wrong for me to say, as we finished our shoot. We were at the beginning of the post production stage and it is a long post production process, because it is a period film, and it was stopped because of the lockdown."

Vicky will live the life of martyr Udham Singh on screen.

The director further added, "Now, I think we have been given permission to do post production, but now we are looking at how to start it. I think we will start post production gradually. It will be done next year, as the film is expected to be released next year only. But I think once the cinemas open, everything will be at a great speed, maybe we will know a little more in a couple of months of how it will affect."
