Popstar Khalid Canceled Tour of India due to Coronavirus

International pop artist Khalid, who is investigating the Coronavirus's impact globally has postponed his upcoming Asia tour. Khalid was to perform in India for the first time in April.

Khalid was coming to India in collaboration with Book My Show and AEG presenters. He was to perform in a program in Bengaluru on April 12, 2020, two days after performing in Mumbai. Khalid had given information about this tour last year.

Apart from India, he was also to visit Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Seoul under the 'Khalid Free Spirit World Tour'. But now an official statement has been issued on their behalf to postpone the tour to Asia.

"Khalid is postponing his music program in India due to recent advisory and travel restrictions in many Asian countries," the statement said.

The statement said that his first priority is to remain safe for Khalid's fans, his team, and everyone. He is also working on rescheduling the program and dates will also be announced soon. All customers who have purchased tickets for shows in India on Book My Show can retain their tickets, which will be valid for the new show dates. Or they will be entitled to a refund. "

The statement also expressed regret over the program being postponed due to unfortunate circumstances.
