TV couple Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee appeared in the 2008 in the serial 'Ramayana'. Debina played the role of Sita and Gurmeet played the role of Ram. The love story of both of them started from this show. After which both of them got married. There used to be a fight between Debina and Gurmeet on the set of Ramayana. Debina has recently given the reason behind the fight in the interview.
In an interview to Times of India, Debina said that there was a fight between me and Gurmeet that who would sit on the makeup seat first, so that we can complete out sleep in the remaining time. Our goal was to get ready earlier so that we could rest a bit before the shoot starts.
Debina said that due to shooting for long time, we both could not get enough sleep. "I remember how Gurmeet and I were doing shooting because it was very difficult for us to do the shooting as our costume, makeup and jewellery was very heavy and it used to occupy a lot of time also, however, with time we learned to get ready as soon as we got into that routine and our preparation speed also increased. But long shooting always made us sleepy".
Gurmeet and Debina met for the first time on the sets of 'Ramayana' and after dating for a few years, the two got married in 2011.
Gurmeet Chaudhary has appeared in serials like 'Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi', 'Punarvah' after Ramayana. He has appeared in films like 'Khamoshiyan' and 'Vajah Tum Ho'. Whereas, Debina was seen in 'Santoshi Maa' serial.
