For the upcoming web series 'Aarya', artists like Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh, and Sikander Kher completed the dubbing work at their home and the process had its own challenges. The shooting of the show was completed even before Covid-19 attacked the world, but dubbing and post-production were completed in lockdown. The team found a unique way of dubbing.
Sharing the experience of dubbing from home, Sushmita said, "This is the first time we all have done something like this. We found a unique way to dub at home and completed our share of work. I found a place in my closet or cupboard where I would stand in the middle of clothes and dub in my laptop upside down, while trying to make the place as soundproof as possible."
To this Chandrachur Singh said, "I used to dub for 'Aarya' by standing in my cloak to avoid the chirping of birds and other noises in the house. It was uncomfortable, but it did its job very well."
'Neerja' fame filmmaker Ram Madhwani is its director. It is based on the famous Dutch crime thriller 'Penoja', written by Sandeep Srivastava and Anu Singh Chaudhary.
The series will be released on June 19 on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP.
