At a time when the whole world is struggling with the epidemic of coronavirus (covid-19), the closure of schools in various countries of South Asia has put the risk of about 430 million children out of the education system.

It has been claimed in a release issued by the United Nations Children's Fund, or UNICEF, on Monday, that 95 million school-going children in South Asian countries were deprived of education before the covid-19 crisis.

According to the report, in this phase of schools being closed, if we do not provide alternative means of education, then children who were already away from education will never be able to return to the schooling system.

Even though various exam regulators in South Asian countries have reduced the impact of covid-19 on school students through creative options for terms and examinations, it is imperative for the relevant agencies to provide alternative ways for students to study from home. Also implement policies to deliver.  Also radio, television and mobile can be resorted, according to the report, children who do not have access to them, should be provided with printed material.
