The Tokyo Olympics to be held in July-August this year were postponed due to the coronavirus, but now it is coming out that the organizers of the Tokyo Olympics are preparing for the Olympics to be organized from July 23, 2021. Yoshiro Mori, the chairman of the organizing committee, has said that the Olympics are unlikely to change much. Games will take place in the summer. We are considering between June and September.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach said that the Games could be held in the summer of 2021. Mori said the decision on the dates of the 2021 Olympics could only be made this week. Any final decision will be taken after negotiations between the local organizer and IOC including sponsor, sports federation, broadcaster. Athletes around the world are difficult at the moment. Some players had to stop their training due to corona, while those who can do the training have no idea how to get fitness at the right time.

The postponement of the Olympics has had a bad impact on Tokyo's hotel and tourism industry. The bookings of many operators have also been damaged, who were thinking that they would get some relief from the Olympics. Shigemi Sudo, general secretary of the Tokyo Hotel and Ryokans Association, said that this is a huge setback for us. Already, member hotels were troubled by low earnings because tourism was completely eradicated due to the coronavirus. The booking of many rooms has been canceled. In such a situation, it will be difficult for us to fill the empty rooms because in the current situation it is not possible to get customers.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) on Sunday assured full cooperation in combating the Covid-19 epidemic and insisted the countrymen stay indoors under the prevailing conditions. IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta said, "In the last few days we have received suggestions that IOA should also contribute towards humanity in the time of global crisis caused by Coronavirus epidemic. We assure that the IOA will come forward and work according to the rules made by the government, the World Health Organization, UNICEF and related institutions. '
